Especially designed for standard water applications to reduce cyst and sediment as well as chlorine taste and odor, the ICE120-S from 3M is a single cartridge water filtration system that provides high quality water for commercial ice machines. This water filtration system also has a built-in scale inhibitor to reduce lime scale build-up and the effects of chlorine corrosion for up to 9,000 gallons (34,069 liters) at flow rates up to 1.5 gallons per minute (5.7 liters per minute).

These water filtration systems use a patented valve-in-head design that makes cartridge change-outs simple by shutting off and venting water simultaneously, with no need to stop the upstream feed water. The cartridge design of this water filtration system is a Sanitary Quick Change (SQC) type that uses a simple 1/4 turn and minimizes the possibility of leakage and contamination during cartridge change-outs. The 3/8" FNPT horizontal inlet and outlet ports on this water filtration system provide direct or easily adaptable connections to plumbing lines.

The ICE120-S water filtration system works with select ice makers from Manitowoc, Scotsman, Hoshizaki, Ice-O-Matic and Koolaire for low flow cubers to 750 lb (340 kg), high flow cubers to 200 lb (91 kg) and flakers to 1,200 lb (544 kg). The water filtration system has a 0.5 micron rating and an NSF Performance Data Sheet (PDS) is included.
